如果是火塞,又何來如此充沛之創作能量?未月木局透丁而火旺,又得丑未沖開墓庫。觀乙木之特性,如灌木,如野草。荒草蔓蔓,丁火一出,勢必燎原,幸透癸,濕木不得引丁,可免自焚之禍。
辛巳庚辰,癸水得金生之。一交己運,癸水非但無金生之,又有己土剋之,濕木不再,丁火犯旺。乙卯年木助火勢,第一次中風。丙辰年幸有濕土晦火,丁巳年火勢中天,第二次中風,遂卒。
「木旺火塞」與「濕木不能引丁」俱為命學之理,但陰陽木之辨需慎明,不可胡亂引用,以免如筆者之前作出錯誤之推論,慚愧。

很難想像爵士樂手沒有食傷的作用,經驗觀之,絕大多數在年月即可看出作用。如果年月不現,我想時柱跟大運則會起相當的作用。
Roland Kirk前三柱不現明顯之食傷,觀其運走南方,可以猜想時柱有食傷透出,而大運得地。Kirk的音樂相當有創造力,然而創造力也未必是傷官的作用,以其幼 時因護士用眼藥不當而導致失明,與中年因中風(心血管疾病)而去世這兩點來看,透丁的可能極高。以溫世仁先生為例,同樣都是乙木日主,癸水傷丁,因而心眼 有疾可為參考。
透丁有丁丑時跟丁亥時兩個可能,我猜是丁丑時,因為之前看Charles Mingus的八字,身旺而年月辰戌沖,而聽Mingus,他的音樂有明顯的躁鬱傾向。Kirk的音樂也有些躁鬱傾向,但不似Mingus之力量超強,如 為丁丑時,即可以丑未隔位沖對照Mingus的辰戌沖,丑未力量小些,隔位力量又更小些。
以丁丑時論之。Kirk的官方網站說:「Kirk was blinded soon after his birth.」可能是出生幾個月的事情,尚未起運,以月柱論之,癸運亥年,甲申乙酉月,水木相生,木旺火塞之故。
乙木生於立秋前,土旺用事,然地支亥卯未合木局,兼得乙木比肩透於年干,又得癸水通根於亥生之,木旺已極。木旺火塞,又見土動洩火,丁火甚虛,但乙木旺而 不見金剋之,必用丁火洩之明矣。初運午巳,丁火得地,早年即顯露音樂才華。辛巳庚辰兩運剋木生火,命局得其中和。一交己卯運,木旺無金來制,乙卯年木旺極 而火塞,因而中風導致半身不遂。丁巳年辛亥月,地支大戰而第二次中風,丙申日合辛,乙木旺而無制,遂身亡。
以疾病與曲風觀之,丁丑時頗為貼切。與溫世仁先生不同之處,在於溫世仁先生是水旺傷丁,而Kirk是木旺火塞。

Kirk was born Ronald Kirk in Columbus, Ohio, but felt compelled by a dream to transpose two letters in his first name to make Roland. After another dream about 1970 he added Rahsaan to his name.

Roland Kirk was a blind(盲) American jazz saxophonist. In 1975, Kirk suffered a major cerebral vascular accident (stroke(中風)) which led to partial paralysis of one side of his body. He died from a second stroke in 1977.
